A retired engineer, Victor Benz, joined the Alberta Wildlife Federation Executive in 2019 as Environment Chair. In this role, he has spent years trying to protect the spring-fed North Raven River from below-water-table gravel development. He is currently serving as the Association’s President, presiding over the Association’s reorganization.
He has volunteered for over 30 years with his professional association and sits as a Director of Engineers Canada.
Victor has had a life-long love and respect for the great outdoors which began with camping, fishing and hunting. His interests include designing and building custom furniture.
