WHAT:
On Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., the Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF) and Lanark County invite media and members of the public to the Lanark County Municipal Office grounds for the unveiling of specialized native seeding equipment that will help restore pollinator habitat across Eastern Ontario, followed by a community Monarch Observation Blitz. The equipment was purchased with support from a grant from the provincial government’s Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF).
A member of the Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant Review Team will attend to recognize the provincial investment and its positive impact on local conservation efforts.
Victoria Woodhouse of the Canadian Wildlife Federation and Elizabeth Boldt of Lanark County will be available to discuss the significance of the grant.
