Congratulations!
This year’s winner of the Past Presidents’ Award for Outstanding Service by a CWF employee is Colleen MacMillan!
This prestigious award recognizes an employee who has made an outstanding contribution to the work of the CWF and, thereby, to the cause of wildlife conservation. It was presented at the Fall Board meeting.
During her more than 35 years at CWF, she has often been CWF’s first point of contact for visitors to the office and callers – brightening everyone’s day with her cheerful, playful, and professional demeanor. It is truly a delight to be greeted by Colleen.
Colleen immediately makes everyone feel welcome and included at CWF. Her warm, embracing and playful nature make people feel instantly at ease. When a young person visits the office with a parent to pick up posters for a school project, Colleen will offer them a high five or a little joke. She eases the nerves of people coming in for a job interview or co-op students on their first day. She calms upset callers by making sure they feel heard and understood, often creating a positive experience in the end. She is the bright smile that greets everyone who walks through the front door – making your entry into the office always a pleasant experience.
