Richard’s family was very supportive of creating a bursary in his name and specified that the funding be directed towards applicants involved in environmental research in Northern Canada, as this was a cause close to Richard’s heart.
This will be an annual bursary to be awarded to graduate students and a maximum of $5,000 has been allocated per year.
This bursary was launched as part of our 50th Anniversary celebration. The deadline for applicants is May 25.
