Welcome,

I have a bat in my house. What should I do?

Occasionally, a single bat will appear inside a house. Usually it is a juvenile who has lost its way and entered through an open door or ungrated chimney. In an effort to escape, the bat will often frantically fly about the room. Start out by turning out the lights and then simply close the doors to other parts of the house and open a door or window to the outside to enable the bat to escape.
