An educator and outdoorsmen, Rick serves as director of education at Grassy Narrows First Nation. He is active in conservation and education governance, contributing to regional and provincial committees, and has held leadership roles with the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, including president. Rick has also served on the CWF board and is involved with the Sunset Bass Club. He lives in Kenora with his wife, has two sons, and is a grandfather to three grandsons.
