Dennis Sherratt

 

Dennis Sherratt lives on an acreage adjacent to Last Mt. Lake near Regina, Saskatchewan. He is a research fellow with the Canadian Plains Research Center, University of Regina and is studying climate change; the effect it is having at an ecosystem level and the use of carbon credits in protecting our natural landscape. He was Director of Fish and Wildlife with the Province for 20 years and has been involved in many national and international conservation initiatives such as the North American Waterfowl Plan, environmental advisor with the Centre for Environmental Co-operation, Chairman for the Ramsar Convention (Canada), as well as numerous legislative initiatives protecting Canada's natural and renewable resources.  Dennis and his wife enjoy spending their time on a variety of outdoor activities.
