She has been on the BCWF Board of Directors as a Regional President; an elected Director and was also the BCWF Becoming an Outdoors Woman Coordinator for several years. One of many highlights of her BCWF involvement was being the 1st Regional President to be honored with the Bill Otway Most Effective Regional President Award.
She is presently a BCWF Vice President, the Past President of the Alberni Fish and Game Club, President of the Vancouver Island Trappers Association, a Regional Director with the BC Trappers Association, as well sits on the Vancouver Island Regional Wildlife Advisory Committee as a BCWF Region representative and is the Wildlife Chair and Access Chair for the BCWF Region.
Darlene also supports future generations of hunters as a CORE examiner and as the BCWF CORE Manual Review Committee Chair.
