Bill Houston has held senior governance roles with the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) in the US, including being listed as Immediate Past Chair and later Special Advisor on NWF leadership and board. He is a long-standing environmental advocate with ties to NWF affiliate leadership. He also has deep affiliate, federation credibility through the Natural Resources Council of Maine (NRCM) in the US, as a board president, past president, and board member.
