Kim owned and operated one of the most successful tidal bore rafting companies on the Shubenacadie River in Nova Scotia. Her knowledge and passion of the outdoors has led her to become a certified guide in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and New Brunswick.
Kim is passionate about sharing her love of the outdoors with others. She is a Range Safety Officer, Federal Canadian Firearms Safety Course Instructor, Hunters Education Instructor, Bow Hunters Instructor, Guides Course Instructor and Learn to Fish Instructor.
Kim also volunteers on many executive committees and board of directors in Nova Scotia, including the Nova Scotia Federation of Anglers and Hunters, Women that Hunt, Truro Struttin' Gobblers, Delta Waterfowl, The Nova Scotia Guides Association, Junior Guides School, and The NS Trappers Association.
