What is the fastest spider in the world?


A. House spider
B. Lynx spider
C. Gladiator spider

Correct! A. The fastest spider on record is the house spider. A 1970 experiment tracked just how fast a female house spider could run and found that this spider gained speeds up to 1.9 km/hr. That means in just 10 seconds flat, it covered a span that was 330 times greater than her own body length!
