- What conservation issue is closest to your heart?
- What people are doing to our earth without even realizing how they are impacting it; with a little bit of information people can make a massive change for the better.
- What are you hoping to learn from CCC?
- I expect to work with people in an environment that we may not be used to.
- Who/what inspired you to care about conservation?
- This is something in which I’ve always been interested. As an avid hiker, I spend the majority of my time exploring new areas (woods, beaches, oceans), and the amount of trash people leave behind disturbs me. I see it all the time just about everywhere I go. My mother and father have always cared enough to make littering a massive no in our family.
- If you could sit down with anyone in the world and have tea or coffee, who would it be? And why?
- Not sure. I take great pleasure in meeting like-minded people.
My Experience So Far
Putting the Fun in Fundy
Stage 1
For Group 11 CCC members, the adventure begins in New Brunswick, where members set off for a paddling adventure on the Bay of Fundy. There they will practice their paddling and wilderness camp skills before setting off to kayak from Back Bay to Oak Bay, through Passamaquoddy Bay via the lower St. Croix River. Along the way the team will have the opportunity to be awe-struck by the scenery while enjoying all that Fundy has to offer.
