Louis has been practicing law (specializing in marine/fisheries law) and representing commercial fishermen for 37 years.
For the past three years, he has been Vice-President of the Nova Scotia Federation of Anglers and Hunters (NSFAH). On behalf of the NSFAH he has attended two Canadian Wildlife Federation Board of Directors meetings and one CWF AGM. He has also attended the NSFAH AGM for the past 18 years.
Louis has been a member of the Shelburne County Fish and Game Association for 18 years and President for eight years. He is currently President of the Highland Gun Club, which is a skeet, trap and sporting clay range near Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. He has held that post for the past nine years.
