Which canid species braves the cold better than all the others?
You're Right! Answer: A. The Arctic fox is a hardy animal that can survive temperatures as low as –70°C. How does it do it? Well, being small helps! Its short muzzle, short legs and small ears reduce the amount of heat it loses. Moreover, the Arctic fox’s fur is incredibly thick, which helps to keep it warm. Even the soles of its feet are insulated with fur to keep frostbite at bay!
