Cross-Canada Road Trip

This summer we invite you and your family to reconnect with nature by taking a VIRTUAL road trip across Canada!

Each week we’ll travel to a new location across our nation, learn about the local wildlife, share tips and ideas for your next outdoor adventure, and highlight how you can support conservation and help make a difference.

Snap and share a picture of your family participating in any of the weekly activities using #WeeklyWild and you will also automatically be entered into a monthly draw for your chance to WIN a fabulous WILD Family Nature Club adventuring backpack full of goodies.

What You’ll Need

This virtual experience is a fun way for kids and families to enjoy their summer together! While your ability to travel may be limited this year, this is a great way to explore new locations across Canada and engage kids each week – both at home and in nearby nature.

We recommend starting off the road trip with these free items:

  • Print off a copy of your map of Canada and pin it up so you can mark each Canadian location you visit each week
  • Find an old journal, notebook or collection of pages to make into a Travel Journal – each week we’ll ask some reflective questions on your experience.
  • Download this postcard template so you can make your own postcards for each stop on your Canadian adventure!

It’s a Cross-Canada Road Trip Contest!

Sure, the experience is reward enough, but there’s nothing like getting a bit extra, right? How about your chance to WIN a CWF WILD Family Nature Club adventuring backpack?! This sturdy bag is stuffed full of goodies to help you and your family explore nature outside your front door.

It’s easy to enter into the monthly draw – all you have to do is post a pic of you and your family participating in each week’s Cross-Canada Road Trip Adventure on social media using #WeeklyWild and your name will automatically be entered to WIN! Whether you’re ‘hiking in Jasper’ or ‘spelunking in New Brunswick’ or ‘picnicking in Ottawa’, send us your pics! Don't forget! If you want us to see your posts, make sure you've set your settings to public!
