We hope you had a chance to participate in Rivers to Oceans Week!
From June 8 to 14, the Canadian Wildlife Federation celebrated our waterways and how each and every one of us is connected to them.
Over the course of the week, you may have received daily eblasts from us! We highlighted seven threats during those seven days and we encouraged you to pledge to do what you can to turn the tide on these very real issues.
We also gave you the choice not to receive these Rivers to Oceans Week eblasts from us on a daily basis. However, we hope you stayed on and learned about the challenges our waters face and how we can all help!
Your Feedback
We need to hear from you! In order to make our issue awareness campaigns more effective we’d like your feedback. Would you complete this survey to help direct our future awareness campaigns and help get the word out about issues that affect Canada’s wildlife?

About the Issue
We’d like to know if during this Rivers to Oceans Week we helped you learn more about the issues facing our fresh and marine waters. For each day we sent information about an issue. Can you rate your perceived knowledge of each issue before you engaged with this campaign and afterwards?
- 1. Vessel Strikes: From cargo ships to pontoon boats, vessels can pose quite a risk to our marine and freshwater species. On a scale of 0-5 please indicate what you feel your level of understanding of this issue was before and after the CWF Rivers to Oceans Week Campaign?
A. Your level of understanding of the impacts of vessel strikes on aquatic wildlife BEFORE Rivers to Oceans Week? (0 is zero understanding, 5 is full understanding)

About the Frequency of Communication
Because there are so many issues facing our fresh and marine waters, we wanted to provide information on as much as could within the seven-day timeframe. However, we didn’t want to push you away with too much information. So, we tried to give you the chance to opt out of receiving the daily emails about these issues.
