Welcome,

Important Legacy Survey

We have been reaching out to our donors to better understand why you support us.

We would appreciate it if you could respond to the following questions. Your answers, along with those from other friends of CWF, will help us better serve all who wish to protect wildlife and its habitat – for today and for the future.

We will hold all answers in strict confidence and will contact you only if your answers indicate that we should. Please answer only those questions you feel comfortable answering.

The challenges of the future are substantial, and CWF is planning under the guidance of a powerful strategic plan. There are steps needed to protect our environment, such as:
  • Expanding wildlife and environmental education to all Canadians of all age groups
  • Uniting Canadians, empowering their voices to advocate governments
  • Harnessing the best science and on-the-ground action to conserve Canadian wildlife and natural areas
Charitable gifts help us to continue to conserve wildlife and its habitat and to address areas of urgent need. Which aspects of the Canadian Wildlife Federation's work are most important to you personally? Please choose your top two.

7.
A growing number of Canadians are combining their charitable giving with their estate planning. Legacy gifts in people's wills have become an important source of funding for many charities, including CWF. Is charitable giving in your estate plan something you have considered?

Endowments are like savings accounts for the Canadian Wildlife Federation, where we spend only a portion of the interest each year. The original donation is preserved and allowed to grow. Endowments help provide financial stability. You can name gifts for endowment funds in your name or someone else's, and you may dedicate the income to any area of CWF's work. Keeping this in mind, does the idea of an endowment interest you?

11.
Would you like to know how CWF recognizes individuals or families who make or intend to make gifts to us in their will or estate plan?

12.
After family and friends are cared for, is a charitable gift for CWF in your will or estate plan something you would seriously consider?

Would you please tell us a little about you? CWF does not rent, sell or share personal information and we promise to keep it safe.
