Welcome,

Pam Robins

Pam Robins lives near Carberry, in a region of Manitoba that includes the unique Spirit Sands and Spruce Woods Provincial Park. A system analyst with a gift for translating what people need to software developers and system architects, her work has included helping clients in rural, First Nations, and Métis communities in Manitoba and Alberta. Most recently Pam has been developing and supporting a reporting system for Jordan’s Principle, an initiative to put children first and ensure substantive equality in First Nations and off-reserve. She believes that understanding different perspectives and cultures can create opportunities for a wide variety of user groups to work together in support of common conservation goals.

During the past three years on the Manitoba Wildlife Federation Executive Committee, Pam participated in the MWF’s shared management, constitution, fundraising, and website/social media committees. She also chaired the Federation’s 2021 Nomination Committee, provided guidance to new anglers at Fish Festival, and mentored youth pheasant hunters.

Pam has served on Manitoba Hydro’s Moose Stewardship Conservation Fund Advisory Committee since 2019. In March 2021 she was appointed to the Fish and Wildlife Enhancement Committee (Fish Enhancement Subcommittee) that is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations for fish enhancement initiative funding applications.

Pam’s interests include curling, fishing, hunting, and connecting people to outdoor activities.
