Harvey is President of Redfish Consulting Limited in Nelson, British Columbia. He specializes as a biological consultant for freshwater fisheries biology, with expertise in kokanee and rainbow trout biology. Harvey served as Director, Fisheries Branch and Manager, Fish Culture in the Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks. He also served as the Regional Fisheries Biologist in the Ministry of Environment. Harvey has extensive experience in the administration and management of regional fish, wildlife enforcement, and water and waste programs.
Harvey is Vice-Chair of the Habitat Conservation Trust Fund and Past President of the BC Wildlife Federation. He is a member of the College of Applied Biology.
