Details: The Canadian Wildlife Federation’s Marine Conservation Science Team hosts its 7th annual North Atlantic right whale Stakeholder workshop in Halifax. The workshop brings together fish harvesters and fishing associations, students, researchers, NGOs, government, and indigenous groups.
Over 130 participants came together to collaboratively discuss the status of right whales, and how we can come together to support their protection and recovery while supporting ocean industries and the livelihoods of those that rely on marine resources. The group is coming together again tomorrow to continue these discussions and showcase the importance of coming together as a community.
