The Canadian Wildlife Federation is pleased to partner with Central Kootenay Invasive Species Society (ckiss.ca)

The Central Kootenay Invasive Species Society (CKISS) is a non-profit started in 2005 to meet the mission of preventing the spread of invasive species in the Kootenay region. CKISS engages community, partners and funders to raise awareness and take action to prevent and control invasive species infestations. CKISS has three programs that support this mission, Community engagement and Terrestrial and Aquatic species monitoring and control. Through hands on outdoor events, such as the Community Together Events, to online workshops, youth field trips and industry training, CKISS provides place-based ecosystem learning to the entire Kootenay community.
