For Group 11 CCC members, the adventure begins in New Brunswick, where members set off for a paddling adventure on the Bay of Fundy.

Lake Huron Stewardship Council & Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation

Goderich, ON

These two non-profit organizations promote responsible resource use and environmental protection in Lake Huron and Huron County. This, through protecting and restoring Lake Huron's coastal environment through education, restoration and research projects. The organizations conduct ecological monitoring, manage invasive species and other environmental threats, and work with community members to improve the natural environment.

Canadian Wildlife Federation

Kanata, ON

The Canadian Wildlife Federation conducts its activities through a cooperative approach – working with people, corporations, non-government organizations, and governments to inspire collaboration in achieving wildlife conservation. We will use the best available science-based information to develop our policies, programs and communications. CWF prides itself in being accountable and transparent in fulfilling our mission.

Algonquin Wildlife Research Station

AWRS: The AWRS (est. 1944) is a small not-for-profit organization operating in Algonquin Provincial Park with a focus on long-term ecological and wildlife studies, student training in the sciences, and environmental education. Our organization is operated by a small but dedicated team of staff and a volunteer board of directors. Our mission is to inspire, to educate, and to conserve. Our vision is to be a leader in wildlife research through experiential learning.

BCWF Wetlands

The BC Wildlife Federation is British Columbia's largest and oldest conservation organization. Our 43,000 members are passionately committed to protecting, enhancing and promoting the wise use of the environment for the benefit of present and future generations. Our volunteers and donors give generously of their time and finances to support to a wide range of wildlife conservation programs and projects. The BC Wildlife Federation is a province-wide voluntary conservation organization representing all British Columbians whose aims are to protect, enhance and promote the wise use of the environment for the benefit of present and future generations

PEI Wildlife Federation – Souris & Area Branch

Shediac, NB

A join placement with two watershed groups doing essential work to protect and restore the Shediac Bay watershed North of Moncton and the Petitcodiac watershed South of Moncton.

Stage 3: Outreach, Service and Community Impact Development

In this stage, CCC participants will be able to take what they’ve learned in the first two stages and incorporate that knowledge into meaningful community outreach and impactful service projects. From developing pollinator education programs for the classroom to hosting informative podcasts that expose new audiences to discussions on the top environmental issues of the day, these projects are developed and delivered by CCC participants with the goal of having a positive impact on both their home communities and Canada.
