Stage 1: Algonquin Adventure

For their #CCC Adventure Journey, the members of the group nicknamed “The Canoedellers”, will be spending a great deal of their time canoeing the waters and portaging through Ontario’s Algonquin Park. Kicking off at Kawawaymog Lake and ending at Cedar Lake, this Canadian Conservation Corps group will be exploring a vast landscape of maple hills, rocky ridges, spruce bogs, hundreds of ponds and streams along with lakes and rivers. During the expedition, the Canoedellers will learn paddling skills, navigation, water safety and camp-craft skills. They will also depart with a deeper appreciation of the natural environment and the world in which we live. In the final days of their journey, they will work more independently and practice making decisions based on the knowledge gained during the trip.

Stage 2: Conservation
