Erin C. McCance, Ph.D, is currently an Intelligence Analyst at Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Prior to this position, Erin was employed as a wildlife ecologist for a Manitoba-based consulting firm and served as the Executive Director of the Canadian Section of The Wildlife Society. Erin has been a sessional instructor at the University of Manitoba for the past 12 years, teaching a range of undergraduate and graduate courses. Erin is a Fellow with The Wildlife Society and is a Professional Biologist with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists. She has a keen interest in research related to aquatic ecosystems and terrestrial mammals, namely boreal woodland caribou, deer, moose, bears, and wolves. Her work includes baseline and effects assessments relative to various aquatic and terrestrial landscape change/development projects.
