Water’s Worth It! Video Contest
2011 Winning Video!
Voting wrapped up last week in our Water’s Worth It! video contest, and the results are in. We’re excited to announce that Wanda Gibson of Farrellton, Quebec, is the grand prize winner of this year’s contest. It was close, but her video about the Gatineau River garnered the most votes in our online voting.
CWF is working with Wanda to award the grand prize of $2000 in conservation funding to a water conservation project in her area.
The top five finalists were as follows:
1. Wanda Gibson (Farrellton, Quebec)
2. Ryan Radchenko (Fernie, British Columbia)
3. Roma Dobrowolsky (Whitehorse, Yukon)
4. Keith Holding (Toronto, Ontario)
5. Andrée Billy (Baie-St-Paul, Quebec)
Each of our top finalists will receive a one-year subscription to the CWF magazine of their choice.
Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s contest, we hope you had as much fun making and watching videos as we did!
