Do you manage vegetation on rights-of-way (roadways, hydro lines, pipelines, solar farms)? Do you want to restore pollinator habitat but don’t know where to begin? Or habitat restoration success stories to share with others?
This limited enrolment workshop will connect you with a growing network of road and utility managers who are restoring and managing pollinator habitat on rights-of-way in Ontario. Meet our keynote speaker, representing the U.S.-based “Rights of Way as Habitat Working Group”.
Topics include:
- Costs and cost savings of native plant restoration
- Planning and executing new projects
- Latest trends in BMP’s in restoration and management of pollinator habitats
- Native seed mix design and sourcing
- A catalogue of knowledge resources from Canada and the US.
Registration is free and limited to 75 people — first come, first served.
