The Canadian Wildlife Federation Natural Playground by Bienenstock will delight children of all ages at the Canada Blooms Show from March 15th to March 24th at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto.
This playground showcases the ideal educational environment for children from ages 0 to 10 and Early Childhood Educators. Features include an outdoor classroom, a children's carpentry station, a musical fence, sand and water play, a slide carved from a 350 year old oak, hollow trees, a sideways tree play structure, all under the canopy of a fully accessible rolling forest. Bienenstock and the Canadian Wildlife Federation will provide free workshops for teachers and parents on connecting children to nature throughout the show.
“A major part of CWF’s conservation mission is educating Canadians; but the greatest goal is for people to actually explore the outdoors and find the true value of our wildlife-rich land. The natural playground will unite people in their love of the outdoors and ignite that spark to want to get out and discover more.” Wade Luzny, Canadian Wildlife Federation Executive Vice-President and CEO.
"We congratulate the Ministry of Education for their decision to support all day Kindergarten. Now it is time to move outside. Nature is our greatest classroom. "
Adam Bienenstock, Founder and CEO of Bienenstock Playgrounds.
