Looking for ways to learn about wildlife and explore nature near you?

While we may be physically distant, Canadians remain connected by a shared love of nature. It’s a love that inspires and rejuvenates us – especially during difficult times.

From your humble garden to your local parks and trails, nature is nearby and there’s never been a better time to reconnect with it.

As your connection to nature, the Canadian Wildlife Federation is here for you. Let’s reconnect! It’s easy. Let us show you how:

Reconnect This Summer!

This summer we invite you and your family to reconnect with nature by taking a virtual road trip across Canada! Each week we’ll travel to a new location across our nation, learn about the local wildlife, share tips and ideas for your next outdoor adventure, and highlight how you can support conservation and help make a difference.

A Reason to Celebrate

When social distancing and self-isolation are a thing of the past, we’re going to have a WILD Party! Let’s plan to get together and celebrate each other and the world around us! It’s a date!

We have several events in the works.

  • National Wildlife Week
  • Shoreline Cleanup
  • Outward Bound
  • Bioblitz

National Wildlife Week
(April 5-11)

Join CWF to celebrate National Wildlife Week from April 5th to 11th and take part in our Be One With Nature Challenge. Each day, we will give you a selection of challenges to take on, from learning more about our wild creatures, to exploring nature right in your backyard, to taking simple everyday actions or doing easy projects. There are so many ways we can #DoMoreForWildlife, and for every challenge you take on, you have a chance to win exciting prizes.

Bioblitz

A Bioblitz is a participatory search for species within a limited area and a limited timeframe that takes a “snapshot” of as many living things as possible. People from all walks of life help out — expert and amateur naturalists, taxonomic scientists and the general public.
