The Canadian Wildlife Federation promotes the preservation and creation of wildlife habitat. Through its Backyard Habitat program and WildAboutGardening website, Canadian gardeners have the tools to make their garden more wildlife-friendly as well as beautiful. One of the concepts we emphasize is the use of native plants. To help choose native plants to one’s area, we have a Native Plant Encyclopedia . Once you know which plants you wish to grow, we have a Native Plant Supplier list to help you locate the nurseries nearest you.
If you sell native plants, we would love to include you on our list. It’s free promotion for your business and helps Canadians recreate natural habitat beneficial to wildlife.
