- Winnipeg, MB
- What conservation issue is closest to your heart?
- I would say wildlife management. Balancing the needs of wildlife and the needs of humans is important in the now and the future.
- What are you hoping to learn from CCC?
- I have high expectations. I expect to have lots of fun, gain new field skills, learn more about conservation, expand my network and build connections and make lifelong friends. I’m looking forward to learning about wildlife conservation in an area of Canada I am not as familiar with.
- Who/what inspired you to care about conservation?
- No one in particular. Wildlife biology, dinosaurs, trees and the natural world in general have always been interesting to me. We are so lucky to live in Canada with the wilderness we have and I want future generations to be able to enjoy it like we can today.
- If you could sit down with anyone in the world and have tea or coffee, who would it be? And why?
- I’d say Bob Ross, because he’s really chill and watching his painting shows put me at peace. I imagine while talking to him I’d get some excellent life advice.
