- What conservation issue is closest to your heart?
- If I could choose to help solve any issue it would be the melting of the polar ice which is leading the decline of the Polar Bear population. It would be terrible to see the loss of such a species, and even worse if nothing is done about it.
- What are you hoping to learn from CCC?
- I expect to learn skills and get field experience as well as knowledge from conservation experts from many different fields.
- Who/what inspired you to care about conservation?
- Right out of high school I got a job at the local zoo. I knew right away that I wanted to work with animals in some capacity. Not in a way that forced animals to live their lives in cages, but in a way that helped them in their natural habitats.
- If you could sit down with anyone in the world and have tea or coffee, who would it be? And why?
- Casey Anderson, the American wildlife naturalist. I really admire the work he does and I think it would be really interesting to hear what he thinks about a couple different issues.
