Install a bat box by a water source and in an area where it will get lots of sun (bats love a warm climate) and monitor it once a month. Plant flowers and shrubs in your backyard to encourage moths, an important food source for bats. Moths are attracted to fragrant, light coloured and tubular flowers, many of which are night bloomers, so keep that in mind when you plant for them!
