This Annual Report summarizes examples of the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s cutting edge leadership. Our wildlife conservation programs are carried out with the best available science. Our research is uncovering new developments that will help foster a greater understanding about the threats and needs of wildlife. Our experiential education programs motivate people to enjoy the outdoors while learning about nature. By promoting easy outdoor activities, we’re ensuring that conservation becomes a part of everyday life and inspiring Canadians to welcome wildlife conservation as part of their values.
The Canadian Wildlife Federation will never step away from a challenge. We will continue to work towards our strategic goals by using innovative approaches that are exciting and challenging. We celebrate our long-term successes, like the Hinterland Who’s Who program, Wild Education, and our Endangered Species Fund, but we will also continue to craft new initiatives to capture and hold the attention of youth — the future of conservation.
I am proud and honoured to share a few of the success stories from the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s 51st year. These achievements would not be possible without your help. Together, we are leading the conservation movement, caring for the land, conserving our waterways, and saving species all the while focussing on financial responsibility and planning for the future. I am humbled and inspired by the dedication of our volunteer board of directors, the contributions of our partners, the diligence of our staff and the generosity of our supporters. I cannot thank you enough! Canada’s wildlife cannot thank you enough!
