The Canadian Wildlife Federation’s HSBC Brighter Futures for Wildlife program
From the vast oceans, rivers, forests and prairies of Canada, you can hear it: an appeal by Canadians to help safeguard Canada’s natural heritage for future generations. That is the objective behind a new program by the Canadian Wildlife Federation, supported by HSBC Bank Canada.
HSBC Brighter Futures for Wildlife is a multi-faceted Canadian Wildlife Federation program supported by HSBC Bank Canada that is focused on empowering youth and families to foster long-term environmental benefits for Canada. Funding will be directed into four program pillars: Wild Family Nature Club, Wild Migration, Wild Outside and Wild Spaces for Monarchs.
The different components represent a continuum of engagement: starting with introducing a love of wildlife to young children, and continuing with targeted programs that engage children at each subsequent developmental stage.
Support for the HSBC Brighter Futures for Wildlife program is thanks to HSBC’s global 150th Anniversary Community Fund. Last fall, HSBC employees around the world were invited to vote to help choose charitable themes for the Fund, and one of the top themes selected by Canadian employees included protecting the environment.
