Patricia is a retired Wildlife Biologist with a law degree. She was formally Chief of Aboriginal Affairs and Transboundary Wildlife for the Canadian Wildlife Service.

She is with a writing group affiliated with the Alberta Writers and has written two children’s books and several short stories. She loves music and dance. She also loves to travel and had her pilot’s license.

She comes from a large family and is one of eight children. She has a married adult son and two grandchildren.

Her maternal grandfather was a Hudson’s Bay factor at Dunvegan on the Peace River when he came over to Canada from Scotland. Her grandmother was a native women whose family resided near the trading post.
